1.) General

The apartment is a non-smoking apartment. Smoking is only permitted outdoors.
Maximum occupancy: 3 (4) adults.
The number of people living in the holiday apartment must not exceed the number stated in the booking confirmation.
Pets are not allowed. (Please note waste separation: yellow bag, organic waste, paper, glass and residual waste).

2.) Conclusion of the rental agreement

The rental contract is concluded by the written booking, e-mail or fax, as well as by the timely payment of the rental price. In the event of serious violations of the general terms and conditions, the landlord has the right to terminate the contract without notice.

3.) Prices

The rental prices are per apartment and night. 1 x bed linen, towels and tea towels, W-LAN, electricity, water and heating are included in the price for 2 people. (see price list on the website). The prices for the final cleaning (40.00 €) are to be paid regardless of the length of stay.

4.) Terms of payment

After the booking has been confirmed, a deposit of 30% of the total rental price must be paid within 7 days. The remaining payment must be transferred at least 14 days before the start of the rental without being asked.

In the case of a short-term booking , within 14 days before the start of the rental period, the rental contract is only concluded on condition that the agreed rental amount is paid in full before the rental period begins.

5.) Withdrawal / Cancellation

The declaration of withdrawal is effective from the day on which it is received by the landlord in writing / by e-mail / fax
. In the event of withdrawal, the tenant must pay the following compensation based on the total price:

a) Up to the 42nd day before arrival: 30% of the daily rental price for 2 people, at least EUR 30 b)
Up to the 31st day before arrival: 50% of the daily rental price for 2 people, at least EUR 35 c
) up to 14 days before arrival: 70% of the daily rental price for 2 people, at least EUR 49.00
d) up to 7 days before arrival: 90% of the daily rental price for 2 people, at least EUR 63.00
plus the number of overnight days.

6.) Arrival/departure

The agreed arrival and departure dates are binding. The rental period begins at 4 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends at 11 a.m. on the day of departure. If the tenant arrives later or departs early, the full rental price must be paid.

The tenant is responsible for keeping the apartment clean during the rental period.

The key must be returned on departure. If the key is lost, the landlord reserves the right to replace the entire key system at the expense of the tenant.

7.) Damage

If the tenant discovers defects or missing inventory when moving into the apartment, he is obliged to report this to the landlord immediately.

The tenant is liable for loss of or damage to inventory and/or furniture in the rented apartment if the tenant did not report any damage or missing inventory when taking over the apartment.

If the lessor only discovers damage caused by the lessee after his departure, the resulting claims will be invoiced to the lessee afterwards. If the tenant realizes that damage to the rented property can occur due to sudden disruptions, he is obliged to report this to the landlord immediately and to do everything reasonable to avert the damage or to keep it as low as possible or to remedy the problem contribute to disruption.

8.) Liability

The use of the apartment, the property and all facilities on the property is at your own risk.

9.) Liability for links

With the judgment of May 12, 1998 “Liability for links” (312 O 85/98) the district court of Hamburg decided that by placing a link, you may be responsible for the content of the linked page. According to the LG, this can only be prevented by expressly distancing oneself from this content.

“We hereby expressly distance ourselves from the content of all linked pages on www.gaesteapartment-hannover.de and point out that we have no influence on the design and content of the linked pages, nor do we adopt this content point out that we have no influence on who sets up a link to our sites and that such a link cannot in any way indicate a connection to this site.”
